Everything you need to know about planning a yacht charter
Browse our search results, select your preferred yacht, choose your dates and extras, then complete the booking form. A 50% deposit confirms your reservation. The remaining balance is due 6 weeks before departure.
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) processed securely via Stripe. Bank transfer is available for bookings over €5,000.
Cancellations made more than 60 days before departure receive a full refund of the deposit. Between 30–60 days: 50% refund. Less than 30 days: no refund. We strongly recommend travel insurance.
No. NoaVela displays all mandatory costs upfront. Optional extras (skipper, provisioning, transfer) are clearly listed on each yacht page.
The base price includes the yacht, standard safety equipment, dinghy, outboard motor, and berthing at the home base on the first and last night. Fuel, port fees, and provisioning are not included.
All yachts in our portfolio are professionally maintained by licensed charter operators. Each yacht undergoes a technical inspection before every charter.

For bareboat charter, at least one crew member must hold a recognized sailing certificate (RYA Day Skipper, IYT, or equivalent). If you are not licensed, we recommend adding a professional skipper.
The Mediterranean season broadly runs May–October. Mid-summer brings the most sunshine; some areas have stronger seasonal winds (for example the Meltemi in parts of the Aegean). Late spring and early autumn often balance warm water, fewer crowds, and steadier conditions — timing varies by destination, so we help you match the window to your route.
You will need: valid passport or ID for all crew, sailing license, crew list (provided at check-in), and proof of charter insurance.
Yes. A professional skipper can be added to any bareboat charter. Skipper fees typically range from €150–€250 per day, depending on experience.
Each yacht listing specifies the maximum number of guests. Typically: 2-cabin yachts up to 4 guests, 3-cabin up to 6, 4-cabin up to 8, 5-cabin catamarans up to 10–12.
